世界女童軍總會第13屆亞太區會議暨第7屆亞太之友大會原訂於斯里蘭卡辦理，因該國境內日前發生重大事故，經亞太委員會議決議通過，將改由中華民國台灣女童軍總會與斯里蘭卡女童軍總會共同承辦，並將辦理地點移至台灣。
中華民國台灣女童軍總會為斯里蘭卡所發生的事故表達深切遺憾，並祈禱亡者安息，傷者早日康復。接下來，我們將與亞太委員會及斯里蘭卡女童軍總會密切合作，全力籌辦本次會議。會議及大會相關活動日期如下：

8/13-17 世界女童軍總會第13屆亞太區會議
8/13-15 世界女童軍總會第7屆亞太之友大會
8/15 世界女童軍總會亞太之友20週年慶祝晚宴

Change of venue for 13th Asia Pacific Regional Conference and 7th Friends of Asia Pacific WAGGGS Gathering
Due to the recent incident in Sri Lanka, it is with a heavy heart that the Asia Pacific Regional Committee came to the decision of changing the location of the 13th Asia Pacific Regional (APR) Conference and 7th Friends of Asia Pacific WAGGGS (FAPW) Gathering from Colombo, Sri Lanka to Taipei, Taiwan.
Girl Scouts of Taiwan (GST) would like to express our sincere condolences to those affected by the incident and our deepest appreciation to Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association for all the preparation work done to host the conference.
From now on, we will work closely with AP Regional Committee and Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association to carry out the event. The new set of dates are as follows:
11 Aug (Sun) to 12 Aug (Mon) –Young women in governance workshop
13 Aug (Tues) to 17 Aug (Sat) – APR Conference
13 Aug (Tues) to 15 Aug (Thurs) – FAPW gathering
15 Aug (Thurs) – FAPW 20th anniversary dinner
16 Aug (Fri) – APR 50th anniversary dinner
Meanwhile, to encourage more participation at both events, AP committee is also working on extending the normal fee registration period. More details will be announced on APR Conference event website soon. The updated information will also be shared on GST website and Facebook page.
