女童軍運動的精神與特點

女童軍是一教育性的訓練活動，是為女孩子及青少年提供各種自我學習訓練的機會，培養品格、發展潛能，成為良好的公民，以服務社會國家。 諾言和規律（Promise and Law） 做中學（Learning by doing） 完整均衡的教育主張，透過四大目標－品德（Character）、健康（Health）、手工藝（Handicraft）、服務（Service），給予女童軍們身心、精神、道德、智能等各方面的陶冶與發展。 小隊制度－訓練學習與活動的生活團體（The Patrol System） 以大自然為教室的戶外活動（Outdoor Activities） 徽章制度－鼓勵學習的動力（The Proficiency Badge System） 世界徽（The World Badge） 左握禮（Left Handshake） 善 行（Good Turn） 懷念日（Thinking Day） 憑我的真誠， 我願對上蒼和我的國家盡我的本份， 我願隨時幫助他人， 我願意遵守女童軍規律。   On my honor, I promise that I will do my best：To do my duty to God and My country；To help other people at all times；To obey the Girl Scout Law. 女童軍的榮譽是受人信賴的。A Girl Scout's honor is to be trusted. 女童軍是忠心的。A Girl Scout is loyal. 女童軍是助人的。A Girl Scout's duty is to be useful and to help others. 女童軍是一切人的朋友，是每位女童軍的姐妹。 A Girl Scout is a friend to all and a sister to every other Girl Scout. 女童軍是謙恭的。A Girl Scout is courteous. 女童軍是愛護動物的。A Girl Scout is a friend to animals. 女童軍是服從的。A Girl Scout obeys orders. 女童軍是快樂的。A Girl Scout smiles and sings under all difficulties. 女童軍是勤儉的。A Girl Scout is thrifty. 女童軍的言語、思想及行為是純潔的。 A Girl Scout is pure in thought, in word and in deed. 準備 Be prepared 日行一善 Do a good turn daily 人生以服務為目的 The greatest aim in life is to serve.
